Hi sonia, yes i have joined the discord. I tend to just watch... There is a vast personality difference between me and many of the members so i stay out of many conversations. But discord was my saviour being able to contact sythe to have my ban overturned. I will have to look into the technical core. Sounds like the kind of place my skills could be put to good use.

Previously i was always using the IRC. and agree it is the best way to get involved in the community. I made great friendships there and progressed myself through the ranks largely due to the contacts i made and mentorship i got from other mods/admins on there.

Just letting you know, you have a moderation position awaiting you if you do decide to come back. But by reading this, I don't think you should return as moderator as your life seems to be quite busy.

I don't think getting demoted for inactivity would count as leaving on good terms, if it did Shall Skill would of been promoted back to Moderator by now.

 

It's a grey area. Usually a good moderator being demoted for inactivity is np.
