Hey how does being a donator..

Everything is situational and subjective. I.E, someone like n4n0 has a $1500 donator status. Regardless of his vouches, and knowing he has donated via WU, knowing he has no method of charging back the donation, I would trust him with a considerable amount.

As I said, trust is subjective. Trusting people based on their donator status is plausible, however not always recommended.

 

A lot of people will donate $200 then scam more than $200. Basically use a trusted middleman when you can and stay the fuck away from Paypal unless you trust them 100%

 

This is 1 reason I dont donate yet. You really must be in this site activity and then donate to show that "Hey, I really care!!". Not just for rank, ok its cool, but seriously, always trust only vouches or title. I dont see any 25$ who has 10 vouch and 300 post, I dont count his donor status. Who cares, donations are for the site! They arent vouches, ANYONE can donate, but everyone cant get awsum trusted. Ps; typed with Android so dont.blame

 

Thats some real shit man, people need to take this by example.
Personally if you've joined the site today and donated instantly then it goes to show you don't know the true meaning of donation.

 

lol? The true meaning of a donations is; Give (money or goods) for a good cause, for example to a charity.

Join date has nothing to do with donating, in terms of its feasibility.

 

Donation amount should never be used as the only method of 'trust'.
It shows dedication to the community via donation, nothing more.

 

Even though join date doesn't really mean much, imo it just makes you look really suspicious if you joined and donate a bunch of money within a week or so(possibly a month).

We may have the long term lurkers who probably feel it would be helpful to start off early by doing so but we also have potential vaders who've scammed a lot in the past and will try to use it for the same reason(they got it all free anyways and more than likely will have gotten away with quite a bit more than their donation, along with them appearing more trusted to other new/newer users, etc.).

Now, like I think someone else mentioned, if someone has donated more and more over time, along with gaining decent vouches and what not, I'd hold their donor status to a higher degree of trust.

 

brb i just found out about sythe.org 2 minutes ago, i know everything about this site hell yeah im donating $100.

however for long time lurkers, it does make apparent sence to donate.

 

It doesn't make much sense to donate money just to scam someone after, that's why I'd trust a high level donor, not so much a $5 one.

 

I've been here for 3 years, and I've made money. Therefore, I gave some back. What's so bad about that?

Oh, and being on sythe, I've made more money then I've lost, I also had a decent paying job irl at the time, so I had no problem making donations.

 

These type of situations are all on the person trusting one another. You should always do a little research on someone your trading with and go the extra mile to ensure your not dealing with a scammer, these are factors you have to put together and decide.

 

Mostly people are not informed about the procedure of donation!

 

If you're in doubt just trade someone who has many vouches, donators can scam the same way as non donators. There are many users who have 300+ vouches so looking for what you want shouldnt be too much of a problem, also while trading ask for PM's make sure you keep evidence, there's alot of imposters nowadays so be careful, and good luck

Either buy selling here, or they have a decent job IRL.
