Well i was bored and decided to look around the report a scammer/spammer sections to see if any of the reports were answered. Wow, to my surprise i saw...




Mathew is looking through numerous pages of report a scammer/spammer reports and answering them all. I'd like to say thanks Mathew for your great and hard work. Now i ask this..
Why is he the only one answering them?
We have so many global mods around. Why do some not do anything? I'm sorry if you do alot of behind the scenes work, but i wouldn't know, because i can't get in the staff lounge obviously. I know pen and viny do alot of work (thanks) do alot of work, but i rarely see other mods posting there. What's with that? Mathew shouldn't have to do all that work by himself. I'm just bringing a valid point up.

 

Pen is doing a great job too, you should see it when he is there!

Yes, i mentioned that pen does a good job and have obviously seen him clean up reports.

 

Yes, Matt and us ( the globals) are working on the RaS section ATM, I was going to help out today but every time I went there I got a "server is busy" error, but I will try again right now.

 

I see viny, pen, and mathew doing it most the time there good

Great choice to make him admin.

 

I hate the busy server error! I'd rather be Ddos'd(word seems like history now) than have a lagging busy server in peak times.

 

Whenver I do anything I move it to the REPORT A SCAMMER FUCKING ARCHIVES so it won't be in the way.

Mmm, I do a few pages every now and then, but Community General, General Discussion, Something For All, IRC Lounge and the GFX section are more where I mod. I also delve into the gold selling section, and the suggestions/feedback.

 

Ditto. I try, but it gets REALLY annoying. If you look behind all the ones done by pen and Matt, you will see some done by me ^_^

yes matthew has been doing a grand job indeed, but back before matthew was admin, pen was the only one i ever saw in those two sections.

 

I see Viny a lot in the spammer section, he answers most of the ones I put in there.

 

Why are you worrying about moderator duties?

If there was a problem with globals not answering enough scammer reports I'm sure it would be discussed privately, I see no reason to call out the globals in front of everyone when in reality you have no idea how things work internally.

In my opinion this topic is either an attempt to suck up at matthew, pretend like you care, or just spam.. maybe some combination of the three.

 

No, your not right there. I'm just saying thanks to Mathew for doing such a great job. And bringing up a point. And i do care, thanks. And no, i'm not spamming, i just took time to bring up a valid point that i took time to consider myself and talk to Mathew about first. I meant no offense to any Globals mods and if i did i'm really sorry for it. Your right, i have no idea how things internally, i'm just going on what i heard from Mathew and what i can observe. So maybe this topic made me look ignorant, if my views on this subjects are not well informed, sorry.

 

I must agree Mathew is a very good admin, he actully cares about the report a scammer forum. Pen is one of the best globals here, hes VERY hard working.

From what I see these 2 staff members work their asses off. I don't know about the other mods nor the Behine the seenes duties.

But then again,

Each global protrol a specific part of the forum. I.E Daily > CM, Pen > Report forums/Market. Thus we see more of them.

The Staff deserve credit equaly.
