This is a really old eoc scam. Jasper has a random amount of gp in his inventory. He asks Jefe to drop a random item, wait 10 seconds, then drop the gold. The 3rd item is a misdirection and irrelevant. The 10 seconds gives Jasper time as soon as he sees the random item to drop his gold and pick up the 100m + iron ore. He then re-drops the 100m and picks up his ~25k gp to show Jefe that he was "scammed". I just tested it myself and the scam still works, the coins do not stack.
