    Help with Trigonometry?
    been stuck on a couple problems.. help would be greatly appreciated.

    express (sinθ+cosθ)/cos θ in terms of tan θ

    express sec θ - sin θ tan θ in terms of cos θ

    Express (cos2) x (secx) in terms of cos x

    Just break everything up into sines/cosines and simplify.

    csc(θ) = 1/sin(θ)
    sec(θ) = 1/cos(θ)
    tan(θ) = sin(θ)/cos(θ)
    cot(θ) = cos(θ)/sin(θ)
    sin^2(θ) + cos^2(θ) = 1

    Help with Trigonometry?
    I recently (yesterday) started trig. I was wondering which academic stream / grade level that problem stems from. I'm in Grade 10 Math, Academic (Highest stream possible, apart from University which comes into play Grade 11 w/ Advanced Functions).

    Omg omg am i dreaming? I hate that! Good luck i hope that you will do better on the exams then me, 1 being the worst mark and 5 the max, i did 2, =( gl for you.

    Post it here next time: Homework Help

    I didn't try solving them, but knowing double angle formulas and expressing them all in cosines/sines will make it much easier. ;)
