    help with my display

    this just started happening to me a few days ago.. anytime i turn my monitor off and leave it for an hour or more when i turn it on the light turns green like its detecting the pc then it turns yellow and thats all it does when i press the power button it shows the desktop or w/e was open and starts to shut down:confused:

    Reset your monitor to factory settings.

    ok, perhaps your monitor is dying, or it could be something else. Try reinstalling/updating your graphics drivers. Also try the monitor on a different system if you can.

    help with my display

    Make sure that your GPU is correctly plugged in.

    Then check that all cords from Monitor to GPU is plugged in correctly and tightened. If the connections are loose you get the error of the monitor trying to Sync with the computer and failing then just going on stand-by mode.
