Help with MM trades

First, I'm sorry if this is not the right place for this.

That just happened 30min ago.
A newcomer came to me and said would want to swap some gold and asked if i was okay with using a mm (as i'm only ~40 vouches and no donor). I said ok, but i'll not pay for fees. Anyway we used a MM and before trading the gold the MM was confirmed and bla bla bla. MM said he received Newcomer's part, and asked for me to trade my part to the Newcomer not himself. The mm arleady confirmed it was him talkin with both of us at discord (through sythe pm). As i never used MM, and i know a lot of shit stuff happens in discord but don't know how and don't even bother about it, when he said i could trade the newcomer and give him my part, i asked for him to send that part, that i can give to the newcommer (or print that part of discord conversation) and send to our sythe conversation. Again i never used a MM but in my head, i thought i would've to trade the MM then he holds both user's stuff, then trade to the right person. Anyway, once i told him to print / send the part that he says for me to trade the newcomer instead of him, he started saying that he already confirmed himself before (it's true) and that i could be a imposter (idk how, please someone can explain?). In the end, i just cancelled it.
I'm sorry if it's confused, i'm just a bit nervous right now and english is not my native language, if someone want to explain me why i could be an impostor for asking he one more pm, it would help a lot.

Edit1: Even if he said for me to trade his osrs account, i would've asked for confirmation about trade screen in sythe conversation anyway... And i know i'm being stubborn, but 250m is like a month of work here. (No i'm not venezuelan 30m is a month salary for venezuelan)

 

If someone seems sketchy or makes up excuses, you're probably right not to trade them. No legitimate trader should refuse to send you a PM.

I mean, i know he already confirmed through sythe that it was him, but even if he asked me to trade his account i would've asked for a sythe confirmation with trade screen and stuff, so idk why he got so mad.... They are the ones to ask for Sythe PM confirmations... so I just cancelled everything.
And what got me more confused is that he said "I'll not send more confirmations because i already did and it seems that u are trying to scam here". When, a 200$ donor said that i was trying to scam people because i wanted a sythe confirmation that he wants me to trade a random user, God, it pissed me off....
I already know about discord case sensitive stuff. And he even confirmed himself in the first appearence, so idk how can i be an impostor for wanting "some more confirmations"....

Thank you for replying, what bugs me is why the MM don't warn people AFTER he first confirm himself at sythe.... I mean, "hey buddy, you are not talking with me anymore", or w/e.... as i said, 250m osrs is a lot for me, so even if it was the "real" MM, i would ask for a sythe confirmation with trade screen, but he just started saying that he already confirmed once, and i was making he waste his time and bla bla bla, that i could be an impostor (for askin more confirmation), then i just cancelled all that shit.
