I have recently sold a PS3 controller on Ebay and the person has got back to me claiming the L2 button is broke and is defective, when it worked fine when I sent it. It was packaged really well too.
I don't have much experience of dealing with disputes so it would be of great help if someone could advise me.
"Hi
I hope u can help me please. I was not able to provide feedback straight away as this item was for a Christmas Present and I have only seen the person this week.
Unfortunately the item seems to be defective as the L2 button is not working properly.
I'd therefore like to request a refund for the item and postage. Upon sending this back to you.
I look forward to hearing back as soon as possible.
Many thanks and regards. Heidi "
I frankly don't have the money at the moment to refund the person and I would be out of pocket due to charges and Ebay invoices, would I win the case if I claimed it isn't faulty (which it wasn't when I sent it)?
Many thanks,
Matt
