AFK combat

Hey, is there a way to afk train combat in rs now? I want to be able to watch lectures online, do a bit of study etc.
Want to train att/str. Have 90+ in both, and 99 defence.

Hellhounds. Only negative thing is that they lose their aggressiveness after 10 minutes. Just run away from them and return in order to make them aggressive again.

You could also afk bandits but the xp per hour is really bad compared to hellhounds.

They hit still and quite high surprisingly. Buy a set of Guthan's Armour and make the best Portents of Restoration you can and you should be able to successfully afk combat. It's advisable to have at least 85+ in each Melee skill though.

 

Yeah, I did maxed melee on hellhounds, they are very afkable with soulsplit

 

Just go in and out of the resource dungeon to make them aggressive again

 

Use an sgs, or demon horn necklace with soul split

 

Afk hellhounds (Taverly dungeon no requirements needed) with flat 90's will get you ~150-160k xp per hour with full guthans, 10 mins they lose aggresiveness but move a little bit and they are aggressive again, bandits is 70-75k xp per hour with guthans fully afk'able.

Yes, you can train strength, attack or defence with guthans. The combat experience you would like to get is no longer limited to the attack style of the weapons you use. You can select if you want attack, strenght, defence or shared xp in the combat menu.

Hellhounds are really nice to train on.

 

Tbh Fire giants were better due to their weak defence but for now hellhounds have to be best. I suggest guthans or barrow gear for health

 

Dags are mostly afk with royale cannon

 

Dags have been buffed quite a bit though, be hard to stay there for long periods of time without banking. I just manage a task using soulsplit/protects.

 

does SGS still have it's healing abilities ? Would rather train in bandos with SGS than guthans tbh..

 

how does the aggro system work now? i cant find anything that auto attacks me :\
