HELP! suggest a language for me to learn!

Hi, i want to learn a new programming language and need a suggestion.
Im mostly interested in coding games so what would be best.
If you post, please post some useful download links/compilers for said prog.

Oh heres some languages i already know.

Most of the languages i know are useless and or newby.

HTML:-------------- enough to edit a site or make a simple one.
SQL:--------------- cant remember but i know like 1 or 2 lines =]
BASIC for ti-83+:--- hellz ya i be mad 1337 at this!
Just BASIC:-------- decent amount.
Scar/Pascal:------- A good amount.
Python:------------ in the works of learning.
.BAT:-------------- decent amount.
ROBLOX code:----- Lol.

So ya i am a newby programmer but i have high hopes for myself in the future!

HTML isn't really a programming language, it's a markup language. Knowing a couple lines of SQL really means nothing as it is so broad. Also, even though SCAR and pascal are similar knowing SCAR does not nearly mean that you know Pascal...

Anyways I'd recommend learning something Object-Oriented, mainstream, and useful.

Either C++, Java, or C# would be my recommendation.

Nothing wrong with being corrected mate - even I'm often corrected by peers.

I recommend C# or Java for beginning and learning the C syntax and concepts, then moving on to C or C++ when you feel game enough.

If you know the basics of HTML, and your up for some extra experience I suggest CSS. If your looking at game development I also recommend C# or Java. There are a wide variety of possibilities.

I would recommend C#. I learned both Java and C#, and I really like C# over java. C# has your back with the .NET framework. Java is free though, C# is sort of free. But yeah after a while move to C++.

If you know the basics from HTML,
Than I'd prefer Java. I did it the same way

I belive he meant the programming language Java, not Javascript the webpage scripting language... it's not the same thing...
