Hmm, well you can start with a local job I guess (most likely min. wage), and perhaps get another job as well? Or find a job that is like a hobby to you, which would be awesome. Like if you like cars, be a car salesman or mechanic, if you like bikes, get paid to fix bikes, etc.

Hopefully I'm making sense, but yeah - you might be better off googling on how to make a strong structured resume, and interview tips.

Did you even read what he said? How on earth would he just start working at a bank with no previous exp/qualifications in that area?

Bartending can be good money. Personally I'd stick with that while trying to find something in logistics/mgmt. It's more plausible to get a job within the logistics sector, as it's not so heavily dependant on college/university education; more so on slow progression and learning on the job.

first off i have to say the fact you say "lul" so much is annoying as hell.

I would personally look into getting hired by a temp agency and see if you cant find a job that interests you from that. Or just apply to any big name companies around you, if youre younger they'll be interested in hiring you because they can pay you less.

thanks for the replies, i really appreciate it ^_^

    i've honestly tried... :(
all the shops around me are generally small 'family' businesses.
i can't apply at the local 'asda' 'cause.... yeah.
i've tried multiple times applying at 'aldi' now that i'm 18 but still no response.
there's quite a few pubs aswell... including the one that i was made redundant from but they also tend to be family and close friends only.

I really wish i could work at a bank ;3 aha.
but i haven't got really qualifications compare to other applicants and that...
also i'm a little rusty with my maths :( haha not done it in 2-3 years since leaving school.

like i mentioned previously in the post there usually only tend to hire people they know :( haha.
there's actually a recently opened pub, i'm going to try applying there eventually but apparently they also over staffed (have friends that work there), so it's going to be difficult getting a there also >_<

i'll try refrain from saying lul, lul. ;)
there's an agency in town i think haha, i'll try go there tomorrow and see what they say :)

Alright, so your school grades are decent. I would look around for a job, even if its part time.

Or, if you're looking for more things to be able to put on your CV, you could consider voluntary work. It doesn't usually pay any money, but it does count as experience and it does look good on your CV when you go to apply for a job (working without being paid and such).

It really depends as in do you need money from a job? urgently? Or would you just like to find a job or something to do>

If you want me too, i can look at your resume... i've gotten pretty good at making resumes since my english 170 class. Send me one with fake details for your contact info and show me what you're applying for. I gladly can help out if you don't know how to make a really good one.

i have a week and a half off and i need something to do....

also you should learn how to make cold phone calls. Asking for a "informational appointment" and be prepared to take notes and ask what they look after... you may end up getting a job here and you will make contacts!
