Help My Scanner Picked Up An Exploit! Help! Help!

While it was scanning it found this

It won't let me heal it or move it into Virus Vault! What should I do!

 

delete it, or quarintine it

 

Copy down the path.

Go into safe mode, find the file, delete it. while you're at it, delete anything else that may be in there. Make sure you're not connected to the internet or any network while you're doing this. Just a safety measure I take.

That was a useless post. You didn't even add anything to what I said.

 

um, ya duh quarintine is on the menu after AVG realises you have not done anything about the threat.

AVG calls it move to vault. Right, I know. He said it won't let him do that. Read the post a bit maybe?

no need to argue people settle down...and yeah do the safe mode thing always works

Try, getting better anti virus + a good firewall.

And if ya can't get rid of it, possibly reformat a option?.

 

Delete it, scan again, if its there again, it is copying itself. I had a bad virus on my comp that copied itself every second. We had to tear down the comp and rebuild it back.
