    Help me :x

Today my computer froze. I pressed control alt delete and tried to open up the task manager but it wouldn't open. So i shut down the computer and when i tried to reboot it goes to the "Windows Error Recovery" screen. I choose the Launch startup repair option and nothing happens it is just a black screen with a large white mouse. I tried to run windows normally but that didn't work either, it just restarted and i had to redo the process. I pressed F8 and tried to run it in safe mode and the mode that runs it from the last good startup and niether worked and it ended up flashing a blue screen telling me the computer has a problem and is going to shut down to avoid further damage. I have a Toshiba satellite L355 s7905. I do not have the windows vista startup disc, windows vista came preinstalled on the laptop. I also do not have a disc drive because it fell out and i accidentally hit it and bent the track so i had to take it out. I really wanna get my laptop back up working so if anyone knows what to do i'd really appreciate it. If you need anymore details i can try to give them to you, im not to good with computers. Thanks, Evan

How long did you let the startup repair run before shutting down? Also, can you clarify the safe mode? Does it run in safe mode? And your last known working config never really works.

Well when i first ran it, it worked and all the prompts came up and it was trying to fix the solutions and my laptop charger was came loose from the wall and my computer died. I was outside shoveling snow for about an hour before i came in and checked it. When i press F8 the option "run windows in safe mode" comes up and i press it but it does not work.
