College started, New city, New college. Know no one :O

Moved to a new city, family bought a house.

First year in college, Know no one.

It started 2 days ago, legit haven't made friends for like 9 - 10 years.

My friends from my elementary school, were the same guys i went to highschool with. Been like a family

although most of them ended up getting in fights, i got into a fight with one too for ratting me out etc.

But like any advice on talking to new people or making new friends?

Join clubs, possibly a fraternity. You will be out of your comfort zone at first, but once you in the fraternity it's like gaining a whole new family.

 

I'm not really a huge club guy, Like I was down to join the Soccer or Rugby team but they open in a few days.

Tbh I just wanna go to a party or some shit with all theese bad bitches but I don't kno nun of them.

But yeah, like sorta feels weird going from everyone knowing me in HighSchool, to a new town where I know no one and a new school, Kids are already like in " squads" and shit and im loafin alone.​

 

Seek out your student engagement association or whatever it's called. Their job is to throw parties and tell people about activities and such around campus.

 

Lmfao any idea around where I would find them? Like student services?

Put yourself out there! Take some risks!

You aren't going to be invited to any parties if you don't know anyone. The easiest way is to join a few clubs / groups / orgs with similar interests to you. I was in the sailing club (lmao ive never been on a sailboat) my freshman year since they had a dope annex house. Typically you're not gonna find any parties thrown by people in the dorms, unless someone's older siblings / good friends are hosting a birthday party for them or something, you need to know people who live in houses / apartments off-campus.

People aren't really ashamed of their interests anymore and really stop caring about petty shit once you get to college. Join the fucking eSports org if that's what you're into. Join a cooking class and meet some ladies, I mean honestly college is what you make of it. No one is holding your hand anymore, if you want to just go to class and come back home and make it into a job you can. On the same note, it's up to you to be the one to join that frat / org / club etc. that looks fun to you.

 

Join in on some extracurricular activities. Getting to know people and making friends usually consist of putting x-amount of effort in, to get x-amount in return. usually associating yourself in the same activities as people results in starting up friendships
