    Help me for money.

    I have recentley installed Windows 7 64 bit. from a torrent, the option to keep my files wasn't working so I used an advanced version where they put your files in the local disk. So, it downloaded and I recovered my bot client and when I click run on the client it says.

    'Windows cannot find 'javaw'. Make sure you typed the name correctly then try again.'

    And when I click install windows it doesn't work either.

    Anyone who fixes this and helps me I will give them $1.
    Thanks add [email protected] for details and to contact me. Thanks.

    Redownload and reinstall the bot client. It should work then. If not, search rsbots.net forums (if thats the client youre using) for a solution.

    I'm not sure if I know fully what I'm talking about, but I'm sure there's something to do with "Variables" where you might have to modify it. From what I recall, you're basically directing anything that requests Java to a specific location, or something. I'll look into it and get back to you.

    I apologize if I turn out to not be much help, it's just been awhile since I've done anything similar to this.

    EDIT:

    I've never used Windows 7, so I'm not sure on the exact steps, but what I did was this;

    Start > Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings on the left sidebar > "Advanced" tab > Environmental Variables. After all of that nonsense there are "User Variables" for users and the "system" itself, I'd modify the bottom one for the "system", so you "Edit.." the one titled "CLASSPATH" to "CLASSPATH=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\bin;%CLASSPATH%;" or whatever version of "JDK" that you have. Make sure the directory listed is where your JDK files are located. Also, I think you might want to modify the one above it titled just "PATH" with something similar, this for example would work "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\bin;" of course modifying it to your specific JDK version. I would suggest keeping the original lines of directory links saved in a Notepad or something in case this somehow causes any problems, just a precaution, I'm fairly sure it won't hurt anything.

    I really have no idea if this will help, or if it's even relevant, it just seems like it would be. I apologize if it's not any help.

    What knivelives has stated should work, also, make sure you installed the 64bit of java...if that for some odd reason does not work try 32 bit..but 64 should work if you do what knives has posted.
