Help just got given a 124.....

Ok Ive just recived a 124 its a 136 members he said he is quitting . So Whats the best way of keeping it? Ive got 2 password recovs pending and linked my email and got orginal Ip. I just need help in if I should put memebers on it or not ect ect.

 

wait a while before u use it . . he might just hack it back and take all ur stuff . .

 

ya make it members, get all the info jagex gives you about make it members. also set your on recoveries and thats probably the most you can do, if it gets hacked back, set your ip to somewhere, where the guy lives. it will help.

 

Thats why I am pending all info ect and will wait a while maybe a few months.

 

This has happened to be, he'll most likely recover it in hope that you put money on it.

I wouldn't waste your time with it... He'll just recover it back in a day or 2.

 

I'd put like 10m on the account, stake, then xfer the cash each time you log.
You're making money and not risking losing anything.

If you put members on it you will be able to recover it. With the info you have right now you won't be able to, even if your recovs set. No matter what you do he will ALWAYS be able to get back. But if you make it members you can get it back to.

 

This would be the smartest thing to do.

You know what, if you're pretty sure he's going to recover it back just transfer off anything of value and bot the living shit out of something 24/7 (like rune sudoko) and go around typing in the most vulgar comments you can at every player to get the account banned. If he tries to recover the account, it will teach him a lesson.

 

There's pretty much no way to 100% guarantee it'll be yours forever. The original owner pretty much always has priority, even if you have way more info. It's really easy for Jagex to tell who is the original owner. Best of luck, I'd let it sit there for a few months before investing any time/money into it.

 

well he lives down the road so the ip is not that far out . Orginal ip wins over info ect.

Well, id say if you think its going to be recovered, do as flight said. Dont bot on it, because it will be your luck it doesnt get recovered lol

Trust me, do not use that account. I can tell you from personal experience its nothing but bad news. I was given a real nice account similar to yours.

It had my recoveries, my bank pin, my email, my ip, my members, but after about 2 months it was hacked back. I put in ALL info, and jagex declined my appeal in a matter of hours. I tried at least 3+ times, no luck

I lost like 20M and my time i put into levlling the account. Don't keep it.
