The First 2 links list the available computers, i'm sure there is a wider variety of desktop bundles in store but yeah.

I need help choosing a computer for games such as WoW, FlyFF, and games that use clients such as those. Can anyone give me the reccomended specs for a pretty decent computer or suggest one from the above links, also take into consideration i only have up to 1.2k to throw around

if you want to play XTREME (:P) games like crysis or COD4, i suggest you buy a alienware. If you want to play css or dod or something like that, you can buy one of those wal-mart computers and upgrade the graphic card. Almost all retail computers have integrated graphics card, which sucks. I suggest 8600 GTS for decent games, and 8800GT for hardcore games.

Okie Dokes, i thank you both for the input ^.^; at least now i have a better grasp on what kind of computer i should get and what to upgrade

Umm i think this looks like a pretty good one after using the site and info you both provided for me, please give me feedback asap, keep in mind i am planning on using it as a gaming computer for Wow-type games, Final Fantasy 11 and such

I would agree with Natin. Building your own computer have many advantages.

I have NO CLUE how the eff to build a computer =\......thus why i am seeking help? -.- oh well, this thread is basically a waste of time since i specifically gave a list of AVAILABLE computers to choose from yet people pose other computers only available to be boughten online........oh well. Let this thread die

Well if you are looking at buying a computer for WOW, Flyff etc... then first of all you don't need a "decent gaming comp" you need a very basic comp... here is an idea of the specs you will need to play WOW without ANY lag (that is ofcourse assuming your internet connection is good"

ntel Dual Core 2 - 2.4Ghz (don't bother with quad core... is more expensive and does nothing for gaming [atm])
Geforce FX 8600GT 512Mb (once again... client based games like them are not good on gfx... so an 8600gt is MORE than ample)
4Gb DDR2 RAM (you can always use RAM)

Other than that... what else you want is upto what you like to do on the computer, etc HDD, and motherboard.

Hope that helped.

Sweet man thanks, now THAT is all i was looking for, an easy and simple explanation of the basics, i thank you very much

if your playing those simple games, all you need is 2GB ram AMD 5000+ 7600GT, easily less than 500$

If you can't build it, go to a custom-computer-building website. My friend made his own computer, costing around $6,100. Expensive, but he's something of a genius. :)

Or, I suggest going to someone you know who can make you a custom computer. Buying different parts from different companies can decrease the price paid. E.g. Buying a custom-computer using all the parts from the company = huge price.

Customizing by buying from different companies = drastically reduced. :)
