from the bands i know on what you picked how is trapt, taproot, rage against the machine, parkway drive , korn, finger eleven , adema and chevelle, even a remotely any type of metal? hate to break it to you there all classified in a type of a rock or close to rock catagory.

bud one word, moron. heavy metal is not screaming, and metallica is not hard rock its thrash (most of there songs) grindcore is where your screams come in a lot where you cant understand it so your right there.

READ ABOVE, and just to tell you most of them have kickass voice's its just a type of music, but as it says above your obviously not thinking of regular metal.

As for me i cant define myself to just one type of metal so ill just toss out a few of my favorites
