[Hearthstone] Shaman Arena Draft

Hey guys.

I believe I've only played Shaman once in arena and went 2-3. It's not particularly my favorite class, but when I saw Warrior and Hunter were my other two choices, I figured I might as well try it out. The deck I drafted seems fairly good, but I don't really have any card draw at all, so I'm questioning how much that's going to affect me. My curve seems pretty solid, however, so I guess my goal is to win the early game and never look back.

You should be fine early to mid. You have great cards to get control of the board which means synergy with the flametongue totem, I'd be surprised if it reaches to a point where you 2 are relying heavily on topdeck. Only card I don't like is the drake as it doesn't really fit because of overloads, lots of 2-3 mana cards, can't make much use of it especially without card draw.

PM Edit: I'd say 5 wins.

 

Most of your early game is removal cards, so you don't have a lot of small minions except at 3 mana, which are mostly situational cards. If you can manage to get your mid game minions on the board and protect them with your small spells, you should be able to build a good tempo.

 

Gonna say 8 wins.

Great early control, weapons, enough spells, and 2 fire elementals.

My last 4 games consisted of only Mages. Every starting hand was terrible, having two 5+ drops and one crackle.
I was unable to draw in to any 2 drops early on and got out-tempo'd every single game.

My last 2 games ended up being the same person, and they had pretty much drafted an insane echo mage.
I was very upset with the end result, but content nonetheless.
