Headset (Microphone included)

Yeah I agree they're not the most comfortable but if you stretch out the band and make it where it doesn't clamp so hard I'd say it's easily the most featureful headset out there for the 50$ price range.

 

Not sure if you've chosen yet, but these have always had solid reviews.

I use x12's though. nothing too special, haven't broke and I've had them since they came out.

But yeah, I ended up with logitech g430's

 

I also own a50's and can confirm all of these points. Another important thing to note is that the battery can last for a fairly long time.

Although these are a little pricey for some, I would definitely recommend them.

I've been debating between the g430's and the sony gold headset.
The gold headset doesn't have dolby, but it's wireless and would make switching between console and PC less irritating.
Mind Pming me after you've spent some time with that headset and tell me how you like it?

 

It's pretty good atm, clear mic too.
