Having somebody else bot for you.

If you pay for botting services, and you get banned, can you get unbanned by appealing and having them check IPs?
Like saying you got hacked and then 2 different IPs to show that it could be true?

Think that would work p:?

 

Hmm I haven't tried it but I'm sure it might work. But when you get other people to bot they usually babysit the bots

 

theoretically it should work if you tell them someone else had access to your account.

only problem is, if the offense is macroing, FaGex won't read the appeal and will just issue an auto denial message.

 

I was thinking the same thing.
Recently i had somebody bot my initiate pure from 67-85 strength.
I posted on runescapes account help forum, and said i was hacked and i think they botted the account. a forum mod explained that runescape does ip checks to prove whether i in fact botted the account or not.
So, win?


EDIT: The person who botted it was a close friend of mine, and we, together, are tying to find ways to exploit the macro ban.

That's actually pretty smart, everyone should start botting for everyone so no one could get banned, get it? XD

 

Try suiciding on a different account to make sure.

 

Suiciding isn't a good idea atm, jagex is mass banning.

Meh I wouldn't risk it as once one account has been banned from your IP, you are flagged as potential to rebot or something like that.

 

Jagex is in fact mass banning at the moment.
Me and a friend of mine are doing a bunch of trial and error tests to see if we can figure out how jagex's macro banhammer works
we have currently had 4 out of 32 accounts banned for macroing.
they are just noob lvl 3's we are messing around with.

3/4 of those accounts were suiciding. one of them was just created and botted for a few hours.
We each have a VPS so it's not one certain ip when we bot.
So far, we haven't made progress yet. It just depends on how many times somebody reports you for botting. at this moment we are thinking that suicide botting could have the same ban rate as doing 10h a day. that's a hypothesis which we are trying to prove true, or false.

I've had an account get banned that I botted on a VPS (different IP) and when i tried to appeal with the stolen option, they gave me the same old auto denial msg
But that was also back in like feb, idk if it's that way anymore. I'd assume so, but could be wrong

I'm waiting on appeals to come through for those 4 accounts that got banned.
If not one of them is unbanned, it'll prove jagex doesn't look at appeals.

Yes, you can I got someone to bot my account last week and I sent an appeal from my own Ip and I got my appeal granted, so yeah you can just make sure you put that someone else had access to your account, because you have no chance of getting your account back if you put that Jagex made a mistake.
