Hey,
Hate lugging around a tripod?
This guide will tell you how to make a simple camera focuser for under $1.

Things you'll need.
A washer.
A bolt ( I think 5MM or 10MM), Should fit most camera/video cameras.
A piece of string, Usually around the same height of yourself.

Tie one end of the string to the washer, and tie the other end of the string to the bolt, Screw the bolt into your camera and drop the washer on the ground.

Stand on the washer and pick up your camera, pull your towards your eye so that the string is tight, if it is to long, cut the string down a bit.
