Goldsale ban?

Last night in log in and I find someone giving free names, so I took the name Simpson which a previous banned member had been selling, that member is not me neither do we match ips nor there is no proof he is actually me.
all that happened is, there was a free name thread and everyone took a few names and one of my names was Simpson so I changed the pass and email of it and I own it now. Why I'm i banned for this though for real if the person that had it was selling the same name, maybe he sold it to that guy that gave me the free name and it got me banned? I mean if I'm getting banned for it then I don't want the name at all:/

 

Show me the free name thread. No one gives stuff worth money away out of the goodness of their heart for the majority.

well you posted this on his thread, but it seems you do own the name now... and in talking to you on skype, you've determined that the account is now on your email with your password. i guess i'd support an unban
