Handling of scamming reports

I was tired at 3am, I posted the two profiles, I didn't bother to post proof of him being a vader, since you can match the IPs.

Blade bro goes ahead and locks thread, leaving the vader unbanned.

I don't know why some staff feel as though they were doing us a favour, when in reality we are doing you guys a favour by reporting these members.

If you don't like how it's formatted, leave it there, someone else will handle it. Dont lock unresolved threads.

Aren't people supposed to accept moderator status in order to help better the community, instead of being a lazy asshole? This guy was just about to scam someone, if I hadn't interfered. By leaving him unbanned, you are posing an unnecessary risk to the inexperienced members, through your laziness.

Actually, it's not an excuse, I don't need an excuse, who the fuck are you to tell me how I report someone? I'm doing YOU a favour, not visa versa.

If you want a shit website where scammers don't get banne because reports arent formatted as you like, then this is the way to go.

You think I care ifa scammer gets banned or not? I won't be affected, others will. You aren't doing me the favour, you are doing it for others. If you don't want to help members of your community, then don't be a mod. It's that simple

 

Looked in to the two profiles, but I found no matches which suggest they are the same individual.

As staff we aim the help the community, but understand we are also a part of it and should all work together.
The only difference between us Staff and regular users is we have the responsibility of handling situations in a fair and reasonable manner.

I'm sorry you are upset with how the situation was handled, but he had every right to close the thread for the reasons listed.
In addition, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt that he tried to find a match between both users, was unsuccessful, and made his post more-or-less as a request for more concrete information to be posted.
