Halo Combat Evolved - Multiplayer lag, need help!

hi, whenever I play multiplayer on my computer I keep getting this little box in the lower right corner, heres a picture.

My question is.. How can I fix this? I have high speed DSL internet and a good pc with 3G RAM

I don think its u..... i use to play halo 1 for pc ... but ya is the sever running off a real server box or some ones computer? most likely from peoples computer try playin on another server.... and is that snipers no sheilds? lol that sh!t was da bomb back in the old days

haha I still frag on halo 1, Try playing on "Lower Ping" servers. Those arent so hard to come by but usually fill up quick. I usually play on anything 100 ping or less. Anything else will get laggy.
