Halo 4 or Black Ops 2

I picked up Halo 4, I just can't really get into it. The campaign I haven't taken much interest in, although I'll complete it solo on legendary one day. The online though is what really disappointed me. It's a million times better than Reach, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't have that same appeal of Halo 3. Maybe it's the lack of 1-50 rankings, or the faster gameplay (armor abilities, sprint, etc.), or the lack of interesting game modes. I'm waiting for snipers, swat, and actually fun Flood game modes, like Halo 3 had (I'm also put off by Flood because the human and flood can kill each other at the same time, annoying as hell). What really disappoints me the most is probably the nostalgia factor of all those fun H3 game types like Train and FatKid, knowing I won't be able to enjoy those again like I did years ago. Yeah I can play the game, but getting people for customs besides MLG gametypes is hard. Black Ops II on the other hand just looks bad. A gimmicky futuristic Black Ops. I'm sure it'll be less copy and paste than IW's game, but I can't play the same frustrating multiplayer for the nth time.

 

Black ops in my opinion was pretty over rated, I played it the other day and just couldn't enjoy it anymore after playing so many call of duties. Also 343 is adding the 1-50 skill system once the kinks have been patched up in testing. Also I'm sure they will incorporate custom games in match making like they did in halo 3 to promote more custom games.

I remember when I first started playing halo 3 there were hardly any custom games going on if any but once people began getting stuck around the 30-40 skill mark and couldn't take it anymore a lot more custom games began popping up. I would give it a couple of months before custom games get huge again because many people haven't even hit up forge yet to make some good maps.

 

I've had the opportunity to play both Halo 4 and COD:Black Ops 2. I like Halo 4 a whole lot better (for almost every aspect). I've never been a Call of Duty fan.

 

I bought the Halo 4 limited edition and i would prefer it over black ops 2.
But i still enjoy both games, just waiting to get black ops 2.

For what i've seen both are amazing games but since i'm more of a cod guy i will go with blops II

 

I might just get black ops 2 cause I feel it will be a better game hopefully

 

I personally do not like black ops 2, I played it at a friends house so I bought Halo 4 and I like it alot

I have to go with Halo 4. I have both games and imo I like Halo 4 better.

 

They're both better in different ways, BO2 for online though imo.

Halo 4 hands down is the best new game rather than Black Ops 2. I love the Halo series and all the games were really good.

get both, i only have black ops 2 atm, but i'm dying to play halo 4! i haven't played halo since halo 3!

 

halo 4 campaign is amazing! but the MP lacks just like reach did they both suck for MP.
