Halo 3 pixel in the making

Ok, recently i've started working on a little halo 3 pixel. It's not all that good but for me quiting pixeling for a very long while and coming back to it is pretty decent i guess you could say. But what do you think of it so far, ill edit this topic once i finish it so you guys can see the final finished results as well.

1st: I firstly designed the head and i figured ah.. ill just do the helmet but it looked kind of lame so i continued on. So i do so and this is where i got:

2nd: I finished the body as good as i could.. but i guess its ok but then his hand was just out there.. so i added a rock under it. Since the hand was suppose to touch ground. But i didnt exactly make it that way =/

3rd: So then i added some basic colors to it now. Just to keep my self on track and here is what i got so far:

And i still am not finished ill be finishing this and posting it on here some time this week if not next.. Im busy so i'm not sure. But remember all this was done in MS paint lol so it takes me a long time. But plz rate, rant, etc..

Thank you, i got a question how do you make really good signatures like yours. I mean i can make some.. but they always turn out to be not that well. So could you send me in the right direction to making them? If so ill greatly appreciate it. Thanks once again.

The helmet is good, but the body and feet don't look anything like the master chiefs armor.
