One fellow anon went to the library, set up a keylogger, waited a while, went back and fetched the logs, and posted them on /b/. (I believe)

 

Any 12 year old with enough time on his hands can hack, its not that complicated and its not cool.

I thought we where talking about no name accounts not multi billion dollar companies.

 

The most common way MySpace accounts are lost is through keyloggers, password stealers, and phishers.

There isn't anyone hacking MySpace itself, just the people who use it.

 

Set up a phisher is the most common.

You can get good stuff out of it, like advertising for a site, etc.

 

to your second comment, how does it make him seem like he has been hacked before? I agree with him it would be completely stupid to edit someone's myspace "oh wow deleted your stuff whatare you gonna do now", "WELL JESUS FUCKING CHRIST YOU WASTED 5 MINUTES OF MY TIME I COULD HAVE USED MASTERBATING WHAT A DICK..." It's just stupid, if your going to learn something why not study a language like java c++ vis etc. something that could be profitable not how to keylog properly..

well he might not of hacked it at all, most people just become mates with other people to get information out of them like their secret question to their email etc.
with them knowing your secret question they can ask for a pasword reset for your myspace account and totally steal it off the person all together and even in some cases steal a persons paypal and all their money on it.
