    Hacking A cisco Router

Hello im trying to get into our company router and someone on our staff team forgot the password they replaced.

I learned how to program the router and system but i never thought i would run into a problem with gaining access because the password was changed.

What im asking what is the best tool to brute force break into the cisco router.

I have complete permission to do this so no worries.

If anyone could help me that would mean alot.

We have a direct local connection to the router so i dont have to worry about going over the internet.

    Thanks have a great day

Why don't you just hard reset it? You could easily re-set up the wireless names/passwords to match and in some cases devices will auto connect to the name and use the same password automatically.

Man i wish it was that easy. I think you think of it as a home network its alot more complex then that. The router is programed to do certian things with phone systems and communication systems. You cant just simply reset it. If it was that simple i would have done it by now but thank you for your imput. But simply reseting it would take many hours of work to get our system back online.

For my routers there's alwas that option to hit like a WPS button and or WPS PIN.
Look into what i stated above and see if you can find the button or pin ^

Uh... I think he's on about an enterprise router man, not some end-user router that you use to connect to the Internet at your home `:p

Check if your company has any support subscription with Cisco. If not, give them a ring anyway and have things like the serial no. + model no. and so on ready. They should be able to point you in the right direction if not help you brute force it.
