Hacked Skype & PM Rule In Official Rules

2 months ago I informed Chloe that the official rules were outdated regarding the hacked Skype/PM rule, and she removed it as such (The Official Sythe.org Rules) however the rule was removed and never updated. I'm not 100% clear on what the official rule is about this other than being told second hand on the Discord from other members (which still wasn't concrete.)

Please update it to include whatever the current official rules are regarding hacked Skypes and PMs - as I understand, currently if your Skype is publicly advertised and is hacked, you are wholly responsible, even if no PM was sent (which hey, I don't agree with, but that's a discussion for another time.)

I personally really think you always should pm on sythe to be sure ur talking to the guy thats a way to not get scammed kids, also a omm also is smart and never click links
If someone his skype password get guessed and you pm him on Sythe and he cant send a verification pm u can also inform hes probally hacked and, noone will refuse to send a pm if they are able to

 

The official criteria for whether or not a user will be held responsible for a Skype account can be found here: PMs are no longer required for Skype proofs!
