    Hacked -> Scamming

    Hi, I know I haven't been banned or infracted YET, but I'm here to post why I shouldn't be.

    A few days ago, I clicked on a link (because I was too lazy to hover over it) that led to a site that phishes your password. I didn't enter my UN/PW there, but apparently I downloaded a keylogger. I was too ignorant to check, because I thought it was just a phishing site. I was a moron.

    But it gets worse; now that I had a keylogger, somebody was able to fetch both my Sythe and my MSN account names. They PM'ed another Sythe user, Rin, and asked them to contact the MSN I had on my profile; [email protected]. Rin sent the money, to somebody by the name of Philip Vlcek; obviously not my name. Then, the person logged off without sending the UGC.

    Rin has screenshots of the MSN interaction with "me" - [email protected], as well as a screenshot of him sending the money.

    Also, he has a screenshot of the Private Message the scammer sent him through Sythe: [IMG], on Friday, 11/7. However - look at the time! It was at 4:22 PM, but Rin's settings are in GMT (he told me himself). This is 11:22 Eastern time, my time; I was in school! I can verify this with my teachers - that I was in a classroom when this alleged scamming took place.

    Now, what I am requesting from a Sythe admin is some help. I want to know what IP's have been used to access this account, and what IP was being used at the time of this message being sent.

    I have editted my sig and deleted [I think] the keylogger, so this is also a warning to everyone. I genuinely apologize and want to know what I should do next - could a mod please help me verify that it was NOT me by sending me the IP's?

    Thanks for the warning; I'll keep an eye out in scammer reports (I did some this morning, didn't see anything) running ip's now...

    The ip's are yours at *.hsd1.ma.comcast.net
