Sup all, just your friendly personal trainer here :p

was just wondering if anyone goes to the gym here.. and actually does weights.

Im a personal trainer(in training) and would like to know everyones training resume.

I have my own of course, i cant really be bothered to write it up (complex as hell) but it looks something like this:

    Mon - Weights U-B
    Tues - Weights L-B
    Wed - Swim(6am) + (7pm) Run
    Thurs - Weights U-B
    Fri - Weights L-B (swim-3pm)
Sat - Weights U-B (ice bath)
    Sun - Rest / Massage

Mine is only for moderate adaption, i am only working on tonement of the core, etc. Im also on a 1600 Calorie diet. :D

    Gym?

To be honest... I knew a thread like this was going to come down.. Atleast murphy is honest...

I used to go gym with school. I used to do the pushing thing with my legs. Usally do like 30 minutes of that at 50kg.

Then i run on 15 incline at like level 7 or 8. I'm slightly overweight but my legs are ace condition. Strong leg muscles. ftw.

If you're left handed and you aren't used to lifting weights, your left hand is noticeably stronger than the right because it gets more exercise.

I probably intake less or aroun 500 cals a day (try to) won't go above 1000.
I do weightlifting with 2 friends at a community gym in the morning,
work on wrestling, go to school and work out during 1st period on odd days,
after school workout at a gym for an hour, head to the school for wrestling practice, and on weekends I just really relax.

Are you guys serious? Why on earth are you eating so little, 1800 calories is barely enough just to manage through the day, and you expect to gain muscle through this as well?

madhacker14, there's no way you can survive on 500 cals a day.

I need at least 3000 cals, I don't go as much as I'd like to, but I still hit it a good 3-4 days a week.

Well I've now got some equipment installed at home, I use it regularly usually 1-2 hours a day than the average 3-4 times a week I did when I had to travel to the Gym. Its very convenient, also I just do a basic routine the same my gym instructor planned for me while I was at the gym.

Good luck on being a fitness training, I worked as a lifeguard last summer, at David Lloyd and most instructors would just be in the little staff room all day, or giving inductions hope its a different case where ever you are.

Well, I lift at school and outside of school in the local YMCA as well. I work on my legs and shoulders on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. And I do my Upper Body on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Saturday is my free day where I just don't do anything except run a few miles in the morning.

You must be misinformed or just adding it wrong.

I stand by my other statement: There is no way you can survive with only 500-1000 cals, especially if your working out.

Edit: I read that you wrestle. You might use up all your 500 calories within one wrestling practice..

I've went through everything I eat in a day, double checked.
I've found including dinner 850 cals a day, with a snack between lunch and dinner 940 cals, if I cheat any (rare, unless i feel myself about to pass out) 1,100 cals.

An average adult diet is something around 2100 cals, 300 cals difference is A small piece of chocolate cake :S.
