What do you listen to at the gym?

I may be strange, not sure, but I enjoy sad/depressing songs and instrumentals. Some reason that stuff inspires me to want to overcome and I get rushes of energy.

I have a playlist of Boston, Rush, Zepplin, and the Rolling Stones. I mostly like the upbeat music but I don't skip the slower songs either.

I'm curious as to how that gets you pumped up honestly. I can never listen to classic rock in the gym mostly rap and hip hop

I too listen to sad/depressing music. ODDLY, it also motivates me to push myself. Gets kinda awkward at times since when I take my headphones off, I hear a lot of these people listening to loud pump-up music.. and here I am listening to Adele... lolol.

You don't necessarily have to be pumped up to have a good workout. I find that I can get in a rhythm better with some classics.

I listen to heavy metal, and a bit of dubstep sometimes.
