I'm not defending him, but using a proxy isn't a huge deal. If I weren't a gamer, I would be running on a VPN 24/7. Since it slows down my connection, I barely use a proxy anymore. It is for identity protection online, but staff should request him to log on at least once with his original IP address to verify he is not a ban evader.

My response could be rewritten to say "Using a proxy doesn't deserve questioning." It's not a huge deal, but I'm stating that it shouldn't be a surprise either.

When you're running a proxy or VPN, it is used for everything he is accessing, including Sythe. It doesn't necessarily mean he has a proxy setup for Sythe specifically, but for his protection in general; which includes making his connection to Sythe anonymously. When you use software like CyberGhost VPN and the other main brands, they will encrypt all of your connections. You cannot just turn it off for a particular website.

When I'm browsing Sythe, I'm on Skype, Steam, Facebook, and most likely 15+ programs connected to the internet.
