Guitar Hero!

First off, stop with the flaming boy. Second, I don't hate it I would never do something I hated. "it involves skill full stop" What the hell are you on about? I have played it and from what you said above I am a whole lot better than you. Last but not least, No sorry I do not swing that way you may not fuck me and yes you can write however you wish if you wish to be ignorant so be it. I'm done arguing with your childish self. Yeah, Well What Is The Point In Taking The Shit Out Of The Game?

Ok let me put it this way, It takes nearly no skill , a 5 year old can do it. They should add more frets like a real guitar to make it challenging.

 

jeesh guys, let me put it this way. guitar hero ( the game ) takes an amount of skill to play it. and real guitar takes much more, but there two different things, one's real and the other is from a game.

 

Obviously, but 90% of the kids who play guitar hero think they will be an expert on guitar in no time, it underrates the skill and time needed to be a real "guitar hero" if you will. You simply don't just pick up a guitar and within a month be able to play songs such as cowboys from hell by pantera, mother by danzig, ballroom blitz from by krokus, or cult of personality by living colour. that's just not how it works, I don't mind the game usually do not compare the 2, but even comparing it to anything.

Guitar hero on easy: first day
Guitar hero on medium: first - second day
Guitar hero on hard: first week
Guitar hero on expert+ : within the first month

thats if you have absolutely no talent at the game. And I can't respect anything that is that easy to learn.

i never said they could just pick up a guitar and play it like on the game. i know they couldn't unless they had some knowledge on knowing how to play one in the first place.

On topic - I, myself, am not that good. I prefer Rockband, and yes, the next guitar hero is going to include a drum set and microphone.

I know what you meant that wasn't exactly directed at you. it was directed at people like nihilus, and the other kid I was debating with.

I guarantee he would not, I would completely annihilate him on Jordan, and through the fire and flames for a 100% fact, and the rest of his videos are about what I do on average. So we would be close there is no such luck that one of us would dominate the other Any song would be close except for the 2 I just stated unless he has gotten a lot better since then.

As for the next 2 I know the titles of the 2 and what there songs are mainly depicted of I do not know about the microphone or drum set thing. and highly doubt they will have the drum set but the microphone is a possible outcome. I guess we will just have to wait for the release to find out?

 

i wish i had a video accessible because im very good at GH3, my best song i have ever done on expert that is actually pretty hard is One by Metallica, Got 99% on it, if i can do it again ill take a picture of it and then post here, but Daily your really good, i give you mad props for playing through the fire and flames that good,especially on expert, i cant play that song lol, to long, and i cant get past the beginning lol, just hurts my eyes lol.

 

I'm pretty good at the game.

I can beat all of GH2 on expert, all of Rock Band except GGAHT, and all of GH3 except raining blood and the devil battle. (I'm just talking about the songs in career)

Strumming is really my only problem with the game, I got the same problem with real guitar. I can keep a decent rhythm but when I have to strum really fast, my hand starts twitching and I can't really control it.

Anyone got any tips for raining blood?

To Deadzone: I'm pretty sure they are putting drums in. I researched it a bit and they got a good drum design going. Better than rock band's.

Hmm I guess that is correct than, although kinda odd. but I guess if it gets kids to pay $50+ more it is worth it.

as for your raining blood problem. I am assuming you are having trouble on the part that does the 4 starting at blue then goes to orange and does 4 down etc. with that just work on your finger speed, you shouldn't strum fast on it simply Strum once per string of 4 (and the sing and double they put in) until you get the speed and endurance to keep the speed going w\o messing up etc.

I'm guessing you are referring to me. No I could careless if someone is better than me at something or not. But the fact is he is indeed not. WE are close on most songs and on Jordan I am by far better than him, and his through the fire and flames vid is faked.

Are you kidding me? do you play guitar? Obviously you do not, This game has no way of helping you because it is nothing like a real guitar, It isn't the actual way the song is played, most songs have a lot more or a lot less notes etc. It helps with nothing, the only thing that may be beneficial to anyone is if they already play guitar because there are a few techniques you can take from that and adapt them to the game, but in no way will guitar hero help you with a real guitar, that is just what I was referring to before with the kids who think they learn guitar hero and there gonna instantly pick up a guitar and play a song. They need to learn that it takes time and practice and it's not something you master in 1 day like guitar hero. (keep in mind I like the fact that guitar hero brings new guitarists I just hate the views guitar hero gives"

 

faculty, deadzone is right. guitar hero does NOT train on any guitar skill's. i guess, if it did do anything to enhance your guitar skills it would make your finger's a bit faster, i guess. but that's my opinion.

 

Definatly need more skill for guitar hero. Runescape just takes time, no skill needed.
