Guide Verifiers

Like pay a small fee to get a OGF (Official Guide Verificator) to get your guide verificated? Sounds good to me

 

^ Hmm but then the problem arises with the mods forcing members to get the guide verified. I'm not too sure if we should charge.

Won't work out because on sythe (usually) you are not allowed to sell your guide until it gets verified. Verification by authority is a must and if your guide is good/sellable, the verifier already has been paid for his job.

 

Oh, ok mike. The problem is that Mods always are busy doing something and they may not have time to verify guides (takes long)

 

I believe Pen and numerous other officials already stated fees will not be implemented.

 

I don't see why everyone keeps posting on this thread, PEN already said its in the works he/she "sorry I don't know you " also said there will be no fees/rank all you will receive is your name stickied in a thread, Also he/she said that the people selected will receive and PM asking them to join, if they don't want to accept its their problem. Also why isn't this thread moved into the approved suggestions?

 

I agree with the private forum idea. It should keep a log of all of the guides that are verified on sythe. It would make it easier for verifiers to see if the guide was already sold.

 

I agree with this. Guides take to long to get verified, as of now, and with a few specially chosen trusted members as guide verifiers it would be faster, more efficient.

 

Some of the guides either require you to meet a certain requirement (usually age) that the seller cannot meet, and there are also guides that have a set amount you can make from it and thus the seller cannot make any more from it, which makes selling the method a good idea. If IRL guides are to be locked, then there should really be a section for them to go, as there really isn't any other place that fits.

Yes, because showing appreciation that the staff didn't bungle a suggestion is definitely ass kissing.

 

I like this idea. Should be a part of it also. Causes less stress so the guide verifiers don't have to go through and ask other verifiers.

 

This is coming together fairly well, I'm getting kind of tired seeing the same thing; Somebody is selling an amazing guide, just waiting to get verified. You check the guide in a few days, still the same thing, NOT verified. Best of luck getting pms guys ;P

 

Mayne only donators would be able to verify them?
Or we need some type of aplication for guide verifiers?

 

Actually Admins would hand picks people to do it.

 

They've pretty much decided most of the important stuff.
They'll be PM'ing people tonight or tomorrow I hear.
Hopefully this works out well.

 

I only hope those were picked and pick to be "Guide Verifiers" do it to help and not for the guides.

There are just things that can't be done at the same time, that's why you divide the power.

 

People were suggesting to be paid for verifying guides, luckily that idea wasn't accepted.

Yes i agree with your first comment, that would be a perk of being a guide verifier but there primary purpose must be to make sure the guide works and that it isnt a leaked version of someone elses or already being sold on the marketplace.

 

Sounds good. I wonder how many new verifiers there will be.
