I've been around Runescape for a long time and know many high level players. None of us have a clue how that can be done on a Runescape server (obviously easy on a private one).

But you do?

Okay, I'll bid $500 for it. $10 up front, and $490 more, once I'm satisified that it works. I'll even accept one third of what you claim you can make: one billion a week will be plenty for me. Since you're willing to take guides and other trinkets for your guide, $10 should be plenty, even if I never paid you the $490.

If you need a million to start the Grand Exchange and don't have the million, then he's showing you how to make the first million. There are a lot of ways for members to make a million: flax, swamp tar, oak planks, etc.

And everyone saying Post pictures of your riches...I wrote this guide yesterday and i only have a skiller account so yeah...Guide 3 will be on a temp Hold on sales because i am re-writing it adding stuff. All the people who have purchased the guides will get a new and improved copy. The reason i am re-writing it is because i recently re-formatted and lost Word so i had to write it in Notepad...and it looks horrible . I have re-downloaded and will be adding pictures, headings and numerous other things...

I think you should really test this out before you claim it to be true. And answer peoples questions;

Hours played per day?
Avg. amount made per hour?

etc.

There's no way to make 3 billion a week on a Runescape 2 server with the balanced trade rules in place. A really strong player would have to be lucky to make 1 billion in a given week. 3 Billion a week is possible on Runescape Classic, but it would take some preparation. It probably couldn't be done every week, and especially not with the limited number of players today.

Without getting into detailed statistical models to prove that it's not possible (I'll bet you kids didn't know a frumpy middle-aged woman knew anything about statistics), I'll explain it so that everybody who doesn't already know better can understand it.

Suppose that it was possible to make 3 billion a week. Or, since the author has backed off and said "up to 3 billion" per week, we'll go for 2 billion a week.

2 billion a week is 2,000 chunks of 1-million-gold. A million gold sells for $5-6 on the various websites. Even before balanced trade, it sold for $4 or more each. If such a method was possible, people would know about it. That's not something that's going to be a secret of a few people. The Asian gold farmers would have figured it out ages ago. Instead of having their workers picking flax or fishing lobsters or cutting yews for 200k per hour, they would make the 25 million per hour (which is about what 2 billion a week is for 12 hour days every day). So now everybody is making 2 billion per week, everybody has 2,000 million-units to sell per week, and the gold farmers have more gold than they can sell. And the people who slave for these Asian gold moguls (and for very little per day) will now go into business for themselves, because they can make 2,000 million-units per week.

So what happens to the gold? The price goes waaaaaaaay down. To like 50 cents each million. Why does it go down? Because at $4, the supply is much greater than the demand. There are more competitors, and they will lower the price on each other. The market balances itself. 50 cents per million is still a cool thousand U.S. a week, which is big bucks to somebody who was making about $30 a week before. Now of course it isn't that simple, because the gold still has to be unloaded, and that takes time, but the point is clear enough.

And if all of that doesn't make sense, put it this way: If there were a way to make 2 billion a week, every week, that somebody with a level 100 account could do, then anal old Jagex, the good folks who brought you balanced trading, the Gross Exchange, the Tamederness, and the wonderful new Pest Non-Control, would have put a stop to it loooonnnnng ago.

So nopers, I don't see a way to make anywhere in the ballpark of 3 billion per week, and my offer of $500 ($10 up front) still stands. If it's legitimate, I won't be losing out on the deal. I'll make a lot more than that in gold sales before it gets patched---and I'll be making a lot of gold dealers very happy with $1 per million gold.
