1: Go to start menu.
2: Search for "random.dat".
3: Right click > properties.
4: Tick the "read only" box.
5: Ok/apply.

Following these steps will allow you to multy log without the need to log in at the exact same time.

Either use it or don't, I'm not here to give you a power point presentation on runescape program files.

Rest assured, it's safe.

You're kind of being a jerk, if you are going to take the time to help out the community by sharing a little tid bit of information such as this, people expect you to be a bit more approachable honestly. It would have taken less effort to just say why it allows you to multi log instead of turning into a prick.

>gives helpful tip on how to multi-log
>people aren't quite sure as to how it works and have questions
>acts hostile because people ask questions

He means how does this allow you to do this. He wants to understand what it does.

You're all faggots, why don't you just answer the kid's question? Here, I'll do it.

Basically the RS applet reads from a file called random.dat to tell itself if there is already an instance of the game running. If you make the file read-only, then the applet cannot write to it. So, if you "freeze" the file like that when the game isn't running, you will *technically* never be running the game according to the applet. Make sense?
