Greece and why the EU was in the wrong

    Hi all!

I'm a Greek living in London and obviously studying the political situation very closely as it's situation goes from bad to darn right ridiculous.

Currently the situation has got to a point where Merkel and her minions are attempting to destroy Tsipras.

Greece held a revolutionary election on whether it should or should not accept the bail out terms that had been offer - The answer was a resounding no.

What the EU did next was nothing short of a political coup.

It's well known Merkel is the ring leader of the EU, is being forced to obey her financial ministers ideas a lot more to appeal more too the common people in Germany and does not back down.

HOWEVER did you know that after WW2 Greece allowed Germany to wipe 50% of it's debt away? How kind we are!.

Merkel does not want Greece to have better terms, it has a political knock on event with the up coming elections in Ireland especially, austerity everywhere barring the G7 countries and a select few in the EU.

When the Greek parliament meets on Wednesday I hope my fellow Greeks speak clearly and demand the Greek PM and his colleagues turn down this rude, embarrassing and darn right disgusting proposals spear headed by Merkel, Thank you France for sticking by us <3.

Why should a country that has twice been allowed to rebuild itself, been given debt reprieves and help, time and extensions with it's own debts be allowed to bring down the nation that fathered medicine, diplomacy and a lot of other brilliant things? Us Greeks do not deserve to be punished by the likes of a German named Merkel because she wants a united EU, I still don't think she understands that England is pretty much finished with it either.

Long live the diplomatic way of life, let us prosper with what the country decides and let Greece once again stand fall.

Merkel was my #1 Secret milf but she is about as attractive as Mia Khalifa is now.

Greece should never have been accepted into the EU in the first place, they have practically no industry or anyway to actually make real money. Germany on the other hand has industry, I'd say most of the UK's proft is within a 1 mile strip within Central London.

you should edit your op if you want people to take this seriously

unfortunately (?) for greece, the rest of the world is in a position that greece leaving the eurozone is unpalatable enough that strong-arming them to stay in is a reasonable course of action. that said, i don't think the terms agreed to today are going to be the end of the discussion. greece is still in dire straits, and there's probably a lot more struggle to come

fun fact: tsipras is the highest-paid politician in the world by a factor of 2 (~$60m USD last year)

And he has apparently been their PM since age 26?......... I see this as flat out corruption.
