Do you think there will be a market for darkscape accounts?

Not for a while, no. The niche is similar to ironman mode in that there is joy in playing and accomplishing goals yourself. Buying an account is risky business, and because of that it would just decrease the appeal of it.

 

Well as you're probably aware a lot of accounts in general get sold here on Sythe, we all know its risky as well, im just here trying to figure out whether there will be a market/demand for darkscape.

 

What I said wasn't a declaration, it was a supportive argument as to why there wouldn't be a market for it anytime soon, and why it wouldn't be significant by any measure.

People do not realize how big this update is....DarkScape is Legacy combat only, basically pre eoc with a twist.....

Currency will have a lot of value trust me, in about 2-3 weeks

 

It'd be better if it was true pre eoc no random overpowered ags, no duel rapiers ect.

 

It's not as big as you make it out to be. Talk like this after the release hype dies down .

 

This might be tough to RWT in it, though, as no places are safe. So as soon as someone trades you the gp, you'd have to bank it right away. Probably in some obscure location, as well. But that being the case, I bet after a month, JaGeX will hardly ever monitor the server for RWT

 

Not a big market, but yes I do think there will be a market for darkscape accounts eventually.

There might be a small/medium size market for it, nothing like the osrs/rs3 market though.

I dont think it'll ever take off at all, Runescape in general seems to be declining why would people want to buy a darkscape account.

 

EOC's reduced the effectiveness of leveling your combat skill as well, since your DPS is much more reliant on your weapon. Thus, you need a much lower levelled account compared to other versions of RS to effectively pvp.

 

I think once deadman drops the whole interest in this is going to die off

 

I dont think deadman mode is going to be a big thing due to the fact they can raid your bank and your stats kinda get reset if you die so im not even going to attempt because i dont have time to play 23 hours a day, the high levels will rule the game lol
