Gravite Weapons in F2P

Hello I was thinking about upgrading my lv 40 def rune pure to a Gravite pker. I already got the 45 attack and i'm 40 def. My questions are:

Assuming I have 99 Range/99 Str, should I pvp with Maple Short + G2H K0? Or would g rapier + g 2H get me more k0es?

- would Gravite shortbow plus g2H be a better combo than maple short or g rapier
- Would a Maple Longbow (Sighted) + G2H Ko be a better option than rapier, gravite short, and maple short?

- I want to STAY at 40 def so would using gravite weapons put me at risk in getting defence exp? I am currently 800exp away from 41 def and I would like to avoid that.

Would I be at risk getting def exp using gravite weaps? How can I avoid accidently getting 41 def?

Are gravite pkers with 40 def better than 1 def gravite pkers??

Depends on the lvl you are trying to PK,
But I'd say 40 def gravite's own 1 def's,
But once you get higher the lvl the harder it will be to K0 someone.

 

Unless you have a lot of tokens I would just bring a g2h and use a mage shortbow.

To not get 41 def just do a coule wep switches with different styles and see if it puts you on style that gets you defense xp.

1 def or 40 def question I dont really know=/

I'll be level 85, so is that decent? If I were 1 Def, I would be 76 Combat so is 40 def worth 9/10 cmb levels?

I'm not worrying about tokens. I'll have 200k to spend so i'll be able to buy G2H, G Rapier, G Shortbow, and Maple Long (Sighted).
I just need to figure out what to have as my main weapon. For example, I heard maple longbow sighted hits full rune hard due to accuracy and faster speed than regular longbow.

Use Rune Sword and G2H.

 

f2p wise u avg at most..... 20k xp a hr thts with fracite 2h plate and platelegs
so lets say u avg 16k xp a hr..
1.6k tokens botting....ofc
1.6kx30=1 gravite
so each day ull get one gravite

if u want i can provide dung services ....

 

My best suggestion to you for f2p grav pking is this
since your going to have defense i wouldnt worry about getting range too soon.

your set up would be mainly melee and would consist of;
Full rune
Rune berserker shield
Rune gauntlets
strength amulet
G2h
grav rap

rapier as your main wep and switch to g2h
gl with the build im actually doing something almost exact as you and having great results training f2p

Gravites in f2p is like a huge step up from rune. F2p worth it p2p nty!

This, pking is always more fun on a pure or else the majority of your fight is just going to be 0s galour. In your case I'd advise you to get a sighted maplebow and a gravite 2H as the ko weap.

 

I see what you're saying but in p2p, 40 def will get me vengeance, and the green d hide body is also a great boost. Higher levels also risk more wealth. At 1 def I would be 76 cmb but i'm 85 cmb with 40 def so maybe it's worth it?

At 1 def, you're constantly being hit, while at 40 def you hit people hard and they rarely hit you.

I appreciate everyone's input and I will definitely try the maple sighted longbow.
