    Gratitude

I am fortunate to have a roof over my head, food, water, a family who cares, and great friends. But I guess I am not making the most out of life. My life, at the moment, sucks shit. The problems never cease to bother me and just when I feel like my life is getting better, it gets worse than before. When I think about all of those people who are enjoying their lives right now, it saddens me. Why aren't I able to enjoy life, like them? Why am the only one who has so many dilemmas, in life? I'm not sure how long much longer I can withstand this horrible thing that people call life...

Yes, I'm not disabled or have any disease and I'm soooo thankful for that. Yet I still seem to complain about the little things. :/

Just about everything in my life, whether it be good or bad. As crazy as that seems, it's how I feel.

Am not. Everything's been given from hand to mouth. Dreaming of it, though

There are 2 couses of using drugs
1st: You got real life problems, no money no opportunity for life etc.
2nd: Just for fun.<-Idk why people need drugs to feel good.If im with my friends chilling doing some shit i feel happy and got adrenalin.

Well for starters, the age of the earth is only about 4.5 Billion years.

If you believe humans can only make small changes to the Earth, you obviously don't know whats going on around you. We're taking stuff away from the earth every day, we're polluting every day, we're leaving our mark on the planet, and it's going to be there forever. Everything we do will have a long-term consequence.

    Gratitude

This thread is kind of funny. Should I be grateful for the trials and tribulations of life in general, for all of the depressing times, for all the happy times, for the hot meals on my table? In a nutshell the answer is yes. It could be a lot worse, but it could be alot better. I am very thankful I live in a free country and I'm also very thankful my family isn't religious. But having a good life is a curse in disguise, it shapes your mentality, causes people to hate you because it's all you know, and the little things don't matter as much. To be completely honest I wish I lived in another time period where materialism wasn't as great as it is today.
