Thought so, you don't make sense. "Cause they are" When I asked if tagging there nickname is a bad sign of hate.

I think it looks disgusting. I don't consider it "artwork."

Of course I do, otherwise I wouldn't read manga - which is indeed a form of artwork (and considered a type of "serious cartoon"). I also enjoy the classic works from Da Vinci and so on.

Graffiti does not fit under the category of artwork.

Well seeing how you like the other kind of art, I would understand why you dislike it. But I mean some of the artwork are pretty well done. Not just name, some of it sends messages like Da Vinci.

Well In Los Angeles you can go down to Venice Beach and buy a tagging permit for like 90$ or something like that. You get tipped also :D
A few of my friends did that but you don't really get alot of space to work with

    Graffiti.

Ive been into graffiti for about 6 years now, visited a lot of the big spots New York, Bristol to see Banksys art, and many other places.

If you're going to write, do pieces and throw-ups not tags! Best paint is montana hardcore or molotow. I personally use montana with a variety of caps, I use montana fat caps which is 6 - 12cm wide easy to control. Or I use caligraphy and skinny caps, pink caps arn't bad either.
I've been in 2 graffiti crews, and now go with another writer.

    Graffiti is art!
