gp should go down..

I thought this was funny. Just get your slice of the pie as everyone else is, playing this game, milk it till you can't milk it anymore. Than we'll deal.

 

The GP fluctuation is mostly due to the recession we're in. People are finding more, and more ways to make money, and Runescape is actually playing a significant part in supplying people that are in crisis due to the economy, and the state It's in. Bots don't bring money into the game, they just disperse more of individual items bought by players, to players and affect the price fluctuation on items, they don't sell to the general store/alch and bring more currency into the game. The GP prices are falling due to the amount of people competing for prices, not due to all the allegations made against botters, the botters are small fries compared to the bulk sellers.

GP SHOULD GO DOWNNNNNNNN TO .10/MIL OR LOWER!!!!!!!!!

 

GP used to go for 1.7/m. We're lucky that we can buy it so low now, but unlucky that we have to sell it for even cheaper...

 

To be honost its all about the people buying that should dictate gold prices, we are the people who are paying for the service/GP and if we were to all just stop buying gold for a month or two (Not going to happen i know) Gold sellers would be forced to put their mills cheaper and cheaper

If it goes down any less, people will stop farming because it won't be worth it anymore. Then there will be a lack of demand and prices go back up.

It has to find a balance.. and I think $0.5/M is about right.

You know, all farmers could stockpile the gold and bump up the price that way too..

 

Same thing could be said when it was 6/7$ a mill. It's not in the customers hands to raise/lower prices. It's in the gold sellers. People won't stop buying gold. You're talking about thousands of people that stop buying gold, so sure, the price goes down, but then they do flush out all their gold for .20/m, and then it goes back up.

 

i think rsgp should deffently risee for us goldfarmers and stakers out there it will be really nice hopefully jagex will go out and do a big bot sweep and take them all out

 

I hope gp prices go up, cause if they go down more, like .10/m rs market will crash

I think that GP should go down a little, i think we all do relativity but if the GP was really low i think there would be less farmers to buy from and i think that alot of people would probably stop doing it and the game would almost become pointless because you could just buy everything and bot it. i think there should be some meaning to the game. That's why we play it right? we all probably have botting accounts and mains we play on but i think that if GP dropped to .10 i would probably stop playing because everyone would have everything and nothing would be rare anymore. just my views.

all I see in this thread is whining because you can't afford current prices tbh.

 

Lets brake this down.

Before free trade gold was being taken out of the game like no tommorow every time somone died in the wilderness they would lose their stuff and the ep system would give them a shit loot but now if you pk dharoks you get the dharoks. This applys for almost everything. Soloing bandos and die the grave was 3mins you would lose your stuff if you died. Now if you die you have 12 minutes and can be looted by a random.
Tbh i think jagex should just clear all gp from the game and items except rares and see how the economy goes. they do this on alot of private servers.

Its cheap at the moment, there is alot of gold farms out there. Maybe more competition will pull down the prices?

 

If gold was lowered to .10/m, Gold would be worthless. There would be too much gold in the game and then everything in the market would be worth $10.
