Gotta love Blizzard GMs

I made a ticket telling them how much i appreciate all they've done for me and helped me with ingame and their respone was this:

Well, I'm glad to hear you're happy

As it happens, Xalatadu, the GM who actually dealt with your previous ticket, isn't in today, but I'll make sure to pass on your gratitude to him. He only sits a few rows away from me. I can throw a paper ball at his head if you'd like... or even if you wouldn't, I'll probably do it anyway... yeah I'm gonna go ahead and throw the paper ball regardless.

Anyways, in all seriousness, we're always happy to hear that you're happy. Don't ever hesitate to contact us if you need help with anything ingame. We can't always guarantee we'll have the power to do what you might be asking, but we'll do whatever we can

Jagex, take notes.

 

Yeah I like the fact that they reply in such a casual manner. There was an AMA on Reddit a few months ago of a former GM I think. He shared a lot of funny stories he had with players and other GMs as well.

Many were of similar nature like yours. Great to see it's a common occurrence.

 

Seems like Jagex should have customer support like that.

 

god I wish jaggex players even SOUNDED like real people and not just automated responses

 

yea blizz's support is pretty awesome, they've helped me free up nice names, restore items and even warned me from doing something without taking action the first time, it's pretty nice getting responses from people instead of automated messages all the time.

 

Yeah, they've told me some pretty funny jokes over the years in the tickets.

I appealed an account ban a few month ago and got a pretty nice ticket back, keeping me banned but written with sympathy and signed off with the gamemasters name and her personal name next to it.

For all the crap blizz gets over the forums and such, their customer service is great.
