    It seems that Jad 2 failed in the last poll because people did not like the fact that it would be added as an extension of the current fight caves. Even so, the most recent iteration of Jad 2 is being kept as an extension for the reason that with limited dev time, Jagex isn't able to make a standalone version of sufficient difficulty and are instead incorporating pre-existing content to make up for part of that.

    Personally, I don't care either way, although I guess the concern is that the fight caves aren't so much difficult as they are tedious, so requiring people to run through them again is kind of pointless. I am really liking the proposed look of the new capes though. What do you guys think?

    I was pretty upset when I read that they weren't putting it on Zeah which they were supposed to do with release 2. I'm voting no again because the "limited dev time" they keep saying is pissing me off. I rather wait 5 months for Jad 2 than 3 weeks for some annoying shitty extension to the current fight caves.

    Also I feel that the magic and range capes should come from something else other than Jad 2.

    Voted yes the first time, will probably be voting yes again. Sounds like a nice update to me although if they've rushed it there's no point adding it this soon. Make it perfect...

    I will always vote yes to any sort of new PvM content. People that vote No are just being too nitpicky about it expecting way too much from Jagex a company that has been open for 10years and only just started listening to their playerbase a couple years ago.

    At the end of the day it doesn't really matter too much on how you get the items because its going to be in the game anyway, so as long as the items themselves aren't overpowered i'm all for it.

    It's not about being to nitpicky, it's that some people don't want to play boring content that could've been made fun if they didn't take a week to finish it. Look at the first release of Zeah for instance. There was so much room left of just emptiness that could've been filled with shops, cow fields, etc. It didn't feel like Runescape at all and that's what Jad 2 is going to feel like. Like I said in my last post Jad was supposed to be released with patch 2 of Zeah. I rather have them fix PvP or make that minigame shop that we have been waiting on for over a year.

    Its not exactly "content"...Its the introduction of new items which then requires new "content" to be released. You're literally comparing Zeah which is actually new in game content basically a new world..to this?

    The whole point is to introduce the items into the game when people stop focusing so much on the "content" aspect of it they will have more acceptance for it. You guys are literally looking for a Zeah v2...They just want to get theses capes into the game but people keep complaining about how you get the capes etc lol

    I'm not looking for a Zeah v2 at all. The OSRS team could either make this update shit by rushing it (which is what they want to do) or they could add a lore aspect to it instead of just randomly throwing a new boss in to the fight caves. Putting it in patch 2 can give it some lore such as a new cave has been found leading from the Tzhaar city or something.

    The OSRS team has been doing a good job of working with player feedback as of late, can't fault them for that. Adding it to the third part of Zeah would make the most sense lore-wise but that also means that the release would be pushed back almost a full year.. not sure how I feel about that. It's not like we need this content right away but that is such a long time to be kept waiting, especially given the fact that they could release it next month (I don't really care about the graphics, not really a fan of the direction they're moving in anyways). The mage/range capes were also removed as rewards, don't know what's going to happen about them.

    I'm all for waiting for the final Zeah patch. I don't care about graphics either but I don't think we need a new BiS cape right now. We just got the boots a few months ago. I think that it will be released next month though.

    sorry to let you down bud but it will be just as shitty in 5 months, they just use that as a marketing tool to build up the hype like they did with zeah, turned out to be complete garbage. I had high hopes for zeah and thought it would get me back on the game, but oh man I was wrong. They need to hire more people because they really cant keep up with the game.

    IMO I dont know why so many people voted no, they dont lose anything if it comes out, it's not a requirement to get new cape, it's an option not a must

    Aren't these capes planned to be best-in-slots though?
    Which means to get the best cape, you'd have to complete what is pretty much a mini-game to get them.
    I can see why people wouldn't like that. ^_^

    It increases the AGS max to 87 and we just got BiS boots/helm. I can understand in a year from now adding a new BiS cape but right now it is not needed at all.

    I'm hoping they'll fix PvP, especially bounty hunter. Voiders risking power ammys and rune crossbows are incredibly annoying to fight on pures. I can't even stand to fight one that has a painted rune kiteshield.

    Kind of disappointed that it didn't pass, guess i'll have to wait till next year to experience those beastly capes.
