Google - What has it done for you?

I'm sitting here at work, thinking about how often I use google. It has literally become the most beneficial tool of my life.

Think about it:

What is the best thing Google has done for you?


For me, it has helped immensely with me coming out, accepting myself. (YouTube vids)

Helped me find a job.
Helped diagnose conditions when I was being a hypochondriac.
Led me to Sythe.

Does anyone have a story like someone was dying on the side of the road, and you used google, or search in general to save them?

 

True, without google would be alot more different.

I'd use Yahoo or something.

 

Google is a big help when looking up info that I need quickly. Although now I go directly to wikipedia for that and just skip google.

 

Helped me figure out what to do when I found a tick on my balls.

 

For sure, Google has been one of the best inventions in the past decade, no joke.

 

A pretty nifty little search engine that seems to speed up even the simplest forms of research.

I don't use it too often though... only when I look up something I am not sure about.

 

Schoolwork, but mainly I learned to play guitar by using Google a lot

It helped me find out why it burns when I pee; I used too much soap and it got up my Urethra.

 

It's helped me find songs, lyrics, homework answers, and more.

I can't even imagine the grades I would of gotten in school without Google. In a way Google was a better teacher than my teachers in some instances. Not to mention all of the questions I have had answered by Google. One of the most important inventions in the past 20 years in my opinion.

Google as given me a much more diverse general understanding on how many things work, but fails to give me descriptive and veracious answer on the specific nature of a curiosity.

 

It's enhanced my life.
