Google Chromebook

[neo coolboy]

Today was the first unofficial day to buy a Google chrome book. To buy one you had to receive an email stating that you can order one earlier than the June 15th release date. They did this if you applied for the pilot program. Just wanted to know if you guys think it's worth buying one now. Or maybye wait or maybe never haha.

The price atm is $500 for a toshiba make with 2 years of 100 mb monthly 3g built in for free.

For those of you that don't know what a chromebook is more information can be found here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromebook

[World Domination]

I got an email saying I could get one 'early' as well. I'm considering getting one.

I applied for the pilot program (never got picked), but I haven't received any emails from them. I probably wouldn't have bought one anyways, but it's the thought that counts, haha.

[SuF]

I have a Cr-48 and they didn't email me. >_>.

[kill dank]

I got an E-mail, but I currently don't need a new computer, so I'm gonna put this one on hold for a while.

[Blupig]

It's not worth 500 bucks for the limited amount of shit you can do with it.

[noob master]

Yeah, my CR-48 isn't that versatile and for 500 bucks isn't worth it.
