Looking at getting a laptop which is capable of easily running 6-8 osbuddy's at once without lag problems. Ideally the screen will be big enough to show 4 full osbuddy's without having to move in-between clients.

Price budget: Anything under $1000/£700 would be perfect!

I'm a massive noob when it comes to technology so any help would be much appreciated!

EDIT: Hows this one? I've heard some bad things about Acer, but for this price this looks perfect for me h

My Asus G75-VW ran like 8-10 no issues, might be worth a look. Its a few years old and retailed for $1499 new, might be in your price range.

Otherwise, I personally would recommend Asus. Great systems and I've never had any issues with them.

You'll be in a very good spot with pretty much any laptop with an HQ-tier Intel processor, e.g. the i7 4700HQ. U-tier processors are fine but might not deliver the results you want. I find that my i7 5500-U works exceptionally well but it might not be able to handle that many bots.

As for viewing, any 1920x1080 resolution capable laptop would be fine.

Don't worry a ton about graphics cards. Get a minimum of 8GB RAM, but ideally 12GB.

If you follow those directives, you should be able to find a decent laptop on any laptop retailer site within your budget that fits your needs. Good brands are MSI, Lenovo, ASUS, and Dell.

I'd recommend getting a HP, their laptops are cheap in price and are one heck of a monster. Specific: try the HP DV6 series, been running like a charm so far.

There's this dell inspiron 15 7000 series laptop which has a 6300HQ, 8GB of memory, SSD as well as a GTX 960, so you could even play other games besides RS on it. Price is <$1K
