Good with words?

I'm thinking of a word.. I just don't remember it. It's definition is, basically, "A reply to a reply." Any help?

It's not too normal of a word, you don't hear it every day. I've tried to remember for about two weeks but it just isn't coming to me. I'm about 90% it's a re word, so your best guess is as good as mine, re word or not. I know that if I hear it I'll recognize it. If it helps, I want to say remider or something, I don't know.. it's killing me! Thanks.

Technically speaking, it would still be considered a "reply".

I don't think there's an actual word for a reply to a reply. I'll keep looking though.
